Coenzyme Q10 exists in two main forms, differing by just one letter: Ubiquinone and Ubiquinol. Ubiquinone, which is also contained in our capsules, is the oxidised form. Ubiquinol, on the other hand, is the reduced form. Both fulfil important tasks in your organism, being converted from one form to the other. Ubiquinone and Ubiquinol thus continuously alternate in your cells – several times per second!
